Terms and Conditions

1. Appointment cancellation Terms
While we understand that unforeseen things happen we ask that you give us 24 hours notice when needing to cancel your appointment.  Wiregrass Counseling will charge a $50 cancellation fee when appointments are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Appointment reminders via email or text message are a courtesy and may not always be received with more than 24 hours notice of the appointment time. Clients who cancel three times may be subject to termination of services.  


2. Mobile Messaging Terms and Conditions
By opting in, you agree to receive text message appointment reminders from Wiregrass Counseling.  Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. If you need support reply HELP or call 813-777-3872.  Reply STOP to any text messages you receive from Wiregrass Counseling to opt-out at any time.  For more information, review our mobile messaging privacy policy at

3. Client Eligibility
Clients are assessed and deemed appropriate for services based on various factors such as age, mental health condition etc... We are not equipped to treat clients who are experiencing active psychosis and/or severe substance disorder.  

4. Tele-health Terms
Client will sign a consent to participate in telehealth sessions.  While the technology we use is HIPPA compliant we can not guarantee complete confidentiality while providing services with technology.  Clients are responsible to maintain their own confidentiality and privacy when participating in tele-health services.  

5. ESA paperwork
Clients requesting an ESA letter must be considered a client of Wiregrass Counseling.  Client must be seen a minimum of three visits before ESA paperwork can be provided and based on therapist discretion and clinical judgement. Client must be actively engaged in the treatment process. Client must have a documented mental health condition that significantly impairs daily functioning. 

6.Disability paperwork and academic accommodations
Clients in need of disability paperwork will have an ongoing therapeutic relationship with a clinician at Wiregrass Counseling. Clients must be seen a minimum of 6 sessions.  Clients must have a clinically supported mental health condition that significantly impacts major life activities.  We do not provide evaluations for clients who are not active clients in treatment.
